Palmetto Proper FIELD TRIPS
Field trips are fun and memorable experiences, but did you know they provide life-long benefits!? When children attend a Palmetto Proper field trip, they step out of their ordinary routine, experience real world learning, obtain access to additional tools and environments, gain socio-emotional growth with advanced perspective, and see conceptual and academic improvements. Our extensive exhibits, structures and programs allow children to discover the world around them in a fun, safe and stimulating environment.
LEARN, EXPLORE, PLAY & DISCOVER
WITH A FIELD TRIP TO
PALMETTO PROPER, PLAY CAFE & GIFTS!
Daycares, schools, camps, homeschools & other groups can take part in our field trip programs!
- All groups must have a minimum of 10 children to qualify for field trip pricing
- Play facility is designed for children ages 0-6
- The required ratio of children to adults is 8:1 (8 children to 1 chaperone).
- Payment is due at least 2 weeks in advance of your scheduled visit
- Field Trips are available in 2 hour increments, Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm.
- All guests must review our facility rules before arrival
- Chaperones are always FREE
Field Trip Options & Pricing
- PLAY $10/child
Children enjoy a full two hours of open play as they learn, explore and discover through play structures, gross motor skill equipment and imagination-inspiring play areas for children ages 0 to 6.
- PLAY + LEARNING $12/child
Children enjoy open play as they learn, explore and discover through play structures, gross motor skill equipment and imagination-inspiring play areas for children ages 0 to 6. In addition, children will rotate through stations featuring story time and a related arts and craft project. The theme of this age appropriate instruction can be chosen by Palmetto Proper or tailored around a current unit study from the classroom.
- PLAY + LEARNING + LUNCH $17/child

Lunch will be provided for all paid children to include an Uncrustable peanut butter & jelly sandwich (we can accommodate peanut allergies!), goldfish, applesauce and an organic juice box.
